12 months

Molly,
Like everything else, I am behind in writing about your monthly going on's. Since you turned a year old I feel like everything has been moving even faster than before. You, my child, are like a fart in a whirlwind. You are so busy. From room to room you roam, crawling, scooting, wait no, back to crawling. You don't hold still for too long. It sometimes takes you an hour to drink your bottle because you have to stop and play so often. You are not walking yet, but you did master the stairs. You had the going up part down quite a while ago, and the getting down not long after that. I completely appreciate your brothers documenting this accomplishment, while I sit chatting on the phone and "working" on the computer.

One of your favorite things to do is crawl away from me after you've had a bath so you can play with your toys while naked, like that is a better way to play with them. This is all fun and games, until I drag you back to your towel, kicking and screaming I might add, to lotion you up and get you dressed.

You still like to read books, and you have to pull each and every one of them off the shelf, along with all your diapers and anything else that isn't nailed down.

You still climb into your dresser cubbie, completely emptying every blanket.

I tell you this so that when you wonder why there are always blankets all over your floor you will know it was your own fault. I pick them up time and time again, just to walk into your room and find them all over the floor, again.

Things you say: dada, mama, baby, hi, yeah yeah (repeatedly), no no, and you try to say Owen it comes out like "ohwa"

Things you do: wave bye-bye, give kisses and hugs, make "woo woo" sounds for the dog, fake laugh at other people and yourself, fake sneeze, lay down and roll all over any pillow, bite your blankets, lift your arms way up when I say "where's the big girl?", shake your head and pointer finger when you hear no

Things you like: being outside, playing downstairs, riding in the stroller and bike trailer, any baby or stuffed animal that you can give hugs to, crawling over and sitting on people, bath time, singing the ABC song and Patty Cake, swinging, being thrown in the air by dad

Things I love about you: when you give kisses you make a "mmmmm" sound, how happy you are in the mornings, when you will sit with me (or anyone) for more than a few minutes, when you play with your brothers, the sound of your laugh, when you want someone you reach out and grab for them, your dimples, when you take a nap!

Rainy Days & Saturdays

{Gavin} "Mom, do you like rainy days?"
{Me} "Yes, they are my very favorite days!"
{Gavin} "My favorite days are Saturdays! No wait, I mean Fridays because that's when Hunter can sleepover."

The Last Lecture

If you have not heard of Randy Pausch, seen his Last Lecture on YouTube, or read his book, you should. He passed away yesterday, which is so sad, yet he left us with such an amazing outlook on life. We happened to catch an interview he did with Diane Sawyer on Primetime, a couple of months ago. You can watch it on his Home Page. Grab a box of tissues and then hug the ones you love.

Behind

This one word completely describes how I feel right now. It seems I am behind on everything. So since the 24th of July is tomorrow (that's a state holiday, for those of you who don't live in Utah, or who don't celebrate when the pioneers came to this great valley) I thought that maybe I should get on it and post my pictures from the 4th of July. Not so. Since I am behind on so many things, why try to catch up. I decided to stay in my pajama's and scrapbook my 4th of July pictures. This completes two projects, thus making me sort of caught up. Okay still not really even close to caught up, but I digress. And everyone was so nice to complement my scrapbooking, I thought, give the people what they want. Not really, but here it is anyway. The real reason for scrapbooking today was that I finally put together this date stamp set that I have had for over a year, and decided I needed to use it.
Sorry it's blurry, it's super cute in real life.

Please Me

This may come as a surprise to many of you, but mostly Heather, none of these things are Twilight related. Crazy, I know!

First, we went out last night to celebrate Josh's birthday. Yes it was last week, but he was on call, plus THE DARK KNIGHT didn't come out until this week! In case you were wondering, IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD! We needed to preview it before we decided if our kids would be allowed to see it. Bad news for them, it was a little to scary. Good news for any of you who want to see it, we would totally go again, it was that great!

Second, and just as exciting. We have tickets to Flogging Molly tonight! I know, you are feeling like you are missing out on two fun nights with us. Too bad for you!!

Thirdly, I got this cute shirt at Old Navy for 12 bucks and white (not sure how long they will stay that color) capri's on clearance for $7.00. At that price I figured it didn't matter how long they stayed white. I also picked up clothes for Molly and Gavin at around $2 a piece and a new swimsuit for Owen for $3.00. It is 50% off of clearance price until Monday! I love you Old Navy clearance sale.

And last the best of all the game. I had some alone time Thursday afternoon, Molly took a great nap and the boys were both off playing. I got Molly's 1st birthday party pictures and scrapbooked them.
Oh to be caught up with all the other pictures I have floating around!

Tease Me

I am sure there are lots of teasers going on since there is less than 20 days (yea!) until Breaking Dawn is released. Here is my favorite: Quotes of the Day. One quote from the book, everyday, until it comes out.

Entertain Me

I used to have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly, and it was my favorite. A little pricey since it is delivered once a week (thus the name), but chock full of entertainment news. Books, movies, music and more. It has been quite a while since my subscription expired, but if they keep reporting on news such as this:
I might have to renew.
Thank goodness for the internet, I don't have to leave my house to go buy this issue instead I can just read it all online from the comfort of my basement! And thanks to links, you can do the same.
**Apparently I am not the only one who thinks "Edward" is not quite as HOT as he should be on this cover. Check this out.**
